Capsule Presentation

Nutritional Information:
Resveratrol 25 mg
L–Arginine 25 mg

This product contains L – Arginine and Resveratrol for cardiovascular improvement. The product supports cardiovascular health and enhances blood flow. Daily use of this supplement helps keep the arteries clean, bring flexibility to the walls of the arteries and reduce blood pressure. L–Arginine is considered as an essential amino acid. L-arginine shows anti-atherogenic actions, may be accounted for by its role as the precursor to nitric oxide or NO. NO is produced by all tissues of the body and plays very important roles in the cardiovascular system, immune system and nervous system.

Indication

  • Helps to reduce and reverse the on-set and effects of heart disease
  • Widen the blood vessels (increasing blood flow throughout the entire body)
  • Helps to overcome high blood pressure.
  • Inhibit and melt away plaque
  • A powerful anti-aging and antioxidant properties
  • Also helps reduce discomfort associated with, prevent, and reverse the effects of arthritis
  • Helps to reduce memory loss (Alzheimer's disease)

Mechanism of action

Resveratrol belongs to polyphenols’ stilbenoids group, possessing two phenol rings linked to each other by an ethylene bridge. Resveratrol also exhibit antitumor activity, and is considered a potential candidate for prevention and treatment of several types of cancer. It also shows anti-inflammatory, anticarcinogenic, cardioprotective, vasorelaxant, phytoestrogenic and neuroprotective action. Resveratrol possess many biological properties, but the best described resveratrol property is their capacity to act as a potent antioxidant.
L–Arginine is used as supplement that has improved immune responses to bacteria, viruses and tumor cells; promotes wound healing and regeneration of the liver; causes the release of growth hormones; considered crucial for optimal muscle growth and tissue repair. It act as precursor to nitric oxide or NO. NO is produced by all tissues of the body and plays very important roles in the cardiovascular system, immune system and nervous system. NO is formed from L-arginine via the enzyme nitric oxide synthase or synthetase (NOS), and the effects of NO are mainly mediated by 3,'5' -cyclic guanylate or cyclic GMP. NO activates the enzyme guanylate cyclase, which catalyzes the synthesis of cyclic GMP from guanosine triphosphate or GTP. Cyclic GMP is converted to guanylic acid via the enzyme cyclic GMP phosphodiesterase. NOS is a heme-containing enzyme with some sequences similar to cytochrome P-450 reductase. Several isoforms of NOS exist, two of which are constitutive and one of which is inducible by immunological stimuli. The constitutive NOS found in the vascular endothelium is designated eNOS and that present in the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nervous system is designated nNOS.

Side Effects

The product is possible safe for most adults. There is no disadvantage associated with the product if taken under the recommended usage however common side effects include Gas, constipation, loose stool, and loss of appetite sometimes happen, especially at the beginning of the regimen.

Precaution

  • Resveratrol might decrease how quickly the liver breaks down some medications.
  • Medications that slow blood clotting (Anticoagulant / Antiplatelet drugs) interacts with resveratrol
  • Medications for high blood pressure (Antihypertensive drugs) interacts with L-Arginine.
  • Medications that increase blood flow to the heart (Nitrates) interacts with L-Arginine.
  • The combination should only be used in pregnancy and lactation if benefits outweigh the risks.
